littlemousedeer asked: I just tried out the purple glitter pen you threw into the stationary set I bought a while back, and oh god, it's the best thing ever, haha. I thought it was going to be one of those cheap pens that looks really cute but dies right away. BUT INSTEAD, it writes so silky smooth, and smells so strongly of grape, and is kind of my favorite pen now. Still working up the courage to actually use the stationary on someone though. It's too wonderful & fun, and I kind of want to keep it for myself, haha.
aaaaaah i love this message haha : ) AND I KNOW RIGHT those pens are the bomb.. they look crappy btu they’re really good. and i love their fruit smells too!
i hope you do use them eventually.. but if not dont worry.. i have a hoarding problem too… specially with stickers…
p.s. this is about these stationary sets i made a while ago! too bad for you, they’re neverrrrrr coming back (although i AM working on something similar…)
Hey so, I’ve received some asks about why the use of gendered language in this comic I made and I wanted to write something about it…
First, I want to apologize if it came off as alienating to non-conforming binary folks, it wasn’t my intention. Be sure that I invite anyone who may find it useful to read it!
But honestly, I don’t feel like I’m the person who should be writing about and for trans and non-binary people. I’m not very articulate on this subject, so I thought I should quote Anna Anthropy, who is an awesome videogame maker and transwoman:
“…cis people can’t be trusted to educate about trans people, even if their intentions are good,… ultimately the only way trans people will be better represented is if we’re actually allowed to represent ourselves, and if cis people don’t try and take that responsibility away from us.” —-from a reply on her formspring
Also I wonder, how many of the people who wrote to me about this are actually not cis? It seems to me that most of the people entering in this debates in tumblr are, your average “american” cis girl. Just… something to think about…
thespithouse asked: around when is gang bang bong 3 coming out ? :O :D :O!!
brooklyn comics fest thingie : ) !!!!!! see ya there dudes.. im totally lookinf forward to eat all that niu york yonk food…
Simon Haselmann is interviewed for the TCJ, where he blabbers about his black magik work methods and the secrets of Tasmania! He also reveals that he is indeed making a comic for GANG BANG BONG 3!!!!! Oh man! If you don’t know his comics yet, you are definetly missing out, go follow his tumblr now!
Also there’s a nice review in this same article about the newest zines from our friends Lala and Aidan Koch, check it out!
heyy i made a facebook page, like it if ya like it
appropriatetime-appropriateplace asked: hey hey! i love your peeing standing up comic. i was wondering if maybe it's not just girls who have that problem though? i mean, it's really more people who have vaginas.... who can be men/etc.... i mean, there are girls who don't have vaginas! i guess this is kind of a moot point. sorry.
Hi! I understand your point and Im sorry if my comic can feel alienating for people with vaginas who dont identify as girls. My intention was mostly to share it with the girls with vaginas that surround me in real life, and then to share it with “the world”.
ANYWAY, I invite anyone with a vagina (be it man, woman, both or neither) to read that comic I made and hopefully find it useful!
Here’s a sneek peak of something im working on r now… (just to not make this post so boring)
Have you heard about CAKE?? it’s an awesome-to-be comics festival that will happen in Chicago in June. It is being organized by Edie Fake (amongst other people), so by that I can tell you that it will probably be really awesome. They’ve put together this fundraiser, so you can help this proyect exist in the glory that it deserves to!
My friends from Woweezonk will have a table there, which you should def check out! I think they will also have some copies of Ojitos Borrosos and Gang Bang Bong with them. Anyway, if you’re in or near Chicago, you should def check out CAKE and support it!!!
foremaneric asked: how do you make your stickers and pins? do you print the stickers/how do you make the pins?
Hi planeride!
I have been asked about stickers before, so, as I’m lazy, I’m copypasting my previous reply:
“We dont print them at home, we print them at Lumen (which is like a mexican kinko’s) where they use these giant xerox laser printers. They print colors really bright and the black ink turns out really nice and thick. As for the paper they offer Fasttrack for stickers and Kromekote for glossy cardstock prints (which we use for postcards and the sticker lables). They print in tabloid size, so we cut everything down by hand with scissors (after years of this we are now expert cutters!)”
As for the pins, I get them done here in Mexico City. Not to be mysterious or anything, but those guys don’t have any web presence.
um shit i made so many rapports for school
